João Jesus
A graduated veterinarian, dedicated himself to food safety from an early age, having passed through important state authorities in Portugal and the Netherlands, involved in the control of food safety in international trade.
He served for five years as Quality Director in a prestigious meat industry, processing and distribution company based in the Lisbon region. Throughout this period his duties began to increasingly encompass purchases and relationships with international suppliers, as well as an active position in company management and decision making.
Always ready to discover new paths, his personal and professional career, as well as the ease of communicating in the most spoken languages, made him acquire strong skills related to the international food trade. Thus, in 2020 challenged his brother and both founded Foodline.
José Jesus
With academic training in economics, was linked to the food industry from an early age and held various positions in this sector, which led him to acquire knowledge about all factors involved in the food trade.
Responsible for purchasing for a renowned meat industry, processing and distribution company during the last 5 years, he perfectly recognizes the specifics of each type of product and ensures that the purchase must always suit each customer and what they are looking for.
At Foodline, he wants to ensure that each customer has the best international shopping experience, presenting all the solutions and clarifications, so that in the end the customer is sure that he made the right decision according to his needs.
